Twitch streamer Asmongold is at it again – this time targeting the new Dragon Age: The Veilguard. While he has been vocal about his grievances, the game's community on Reddit has already reacted, taking precautionary measures to keep him and his folks at bay. As for Asmongold himself? He feels completely wronged, of course.

Asmongold's crusade against wokeness

In recent months, the streamer has transformed himself into a warrior against "wokeness", firing on all fronts. Whether it's complaining that the new Assassin's Creed is too "woke" or railing against "quota women", he never misses an opportunity to voice his opinion.

He also spoke out early on about Dragon Age: The Veilguard, criticising the game's use of Top Surgery scars to depict gender reassignment surgery. For Asmongold, this is a deal-breaker.

Reaction from the Dragon Age community

In his video “Bioware has Blacklisted Asmon,” Asmongold shows how the Dragon Age community on Reddit reacted to him. They have decided to ban users who frequent his subreddit.

Anyone who follows Asmongold on Reddit will automatically be banned from the Dragon Age subreddit and will no longer be able to comment there. This is to ensure that only genuine criticism of the game is allowed on the forum, and to prevent it from becoming a platform for "battles against woke culture".

Of course, Asmongold is not pleased with this decision and vents his frustration:

“I feel like this is racism. Are they saying that all members in my subreddit are an inferior culture? What is this? That sounds really, really wrong. This is awful — what a bad generalization!”

His statement is a reference to the Twitch ban he received after calling a culture "inferior". Very tasteful indeed. Another masterpiece of qualified posts, as we have come to expect from Asmongold.
