Fnatic and M80 broke the record for the longest CS2 match in a pro match.
The game between Fnatic and M80 turned out to be the longest in pro history. The teams had to play a whopping 71 rounds against each other!
71 Rounds Plus A Bathroom Break
During the group stage of the 20th season of the ESL Pro League, Fnatic and M80 played against each other on the map Anubis.
But instead of having a normal, 30-50 minute game, it went for over 2 hours and 50 minutes!
The first half ended 6-6, and at that point it was clear the teams were evenly matched. At the end of the second half, the teams were standing 12-12, which means the match entered overtime.
After 64 rounds, so about two hours into the match, Fnatic’s player, Body, asked the entire lobby if anyone has to use the bathroom. The responses were clear, with Krimz writing "Dying here."

And that pause seems to have helped M80, because after 71 rounds, M80 won the longest CS 2 match in history.
Congratulations! Even if they don't end up winning the whole thing, they've already set a new record this season.
