With Warzone season 6 releasing soon, let's take a look at the new limited time game mode, Purgatory.
Warzone has always given us awesome content around the Halloween season, with new skins and weapons, as well as an occasional special game mode.
The season 6 patch is set to release on September 18, officially starting off the Warzone spooky season, with a brand new game mode called Purgatory.
Stay tuned to find out what it's all about!
What Is Purgatory?
Purgatory will be played on a modified version of Rebirth Island, where all hell breaks loose, literally.
You drop in, and you instantly have access to your full loadout. The game's point isn't to be the last one standing, since you have unlimited redeploys, but it's to fulfill specific win conditions.
Above the map, there is the iconic Shipment map that floats on some big creature. You can access it by redeploying, flying a helicopter or with multiple portals scattered all over the ground. These portals transport you to random locations, though, so be careful!
You gain more XP, the more kills you have, but you will also be more visible on the enemies' radar.
Scare packages provide loot in exchange for some “unexpected side effects”.
And finally, the Terriball has arrived! It can be shot, meleed or kicked, but watch out, it instantly kills any player that it comes into contact with.
Check it out yourself, on September 18.
